Why Reddit works for creators
Reddit is organised into communities built around specific interests, so a well-matched post reaches people who already like your niche. Choose communities carefully
- Look for communities that match your niche closely, not just the biggest ones.
- Read the rules and pinned posts before posting anything.
- Check whether promotion, links or watermarks are allowed, and how often you may post.
- Note any verification process, where moderators confirm the account belongs to the person in the content.
Post like a member, not an advert
Posts that fit the community’s style do better than obvious adverts, and many communities remove anything that looks like spam. Use a clear title, post content made for that community, and keep links to your profile or link page where the rules allow them.
Avoid posting the same thing to lots of communities at once. Space posts out and vary them, so your account does not look automated.
Protect your account
